What owners wrote

This is the 2nd time I have had a tire pressure sensor beak inside tire causing the tire to go flat as well as having a fire on the inside due to the friction. (last time was in 2014). I did keep the tire with burn spots as well as the tire sensor from firestone. I was lucky that I was on an off ramp when this happens one not going 70 MPH on the thru way (I75). Last time my dealer (chrysler jeep dodge in brandon fl) did replace a sensor as well as the tire. (october, 2014 / a week after purchasing this car).

All of the metal valve stems are corroded and cracked, and one of our tires is slowly leaking air as a result. We've been told this is a major safety concern because the valve stem can continue to crack and eventually break, causing rapid tire pressure deflation. The result can be loss of control of the vehicle when the tire blows out and possible catastrophic results. I have noticed several other chrysler and dodge minivans in my area with the same problem.
