I was putting the stow and go seat (behind driver's seat) into the storage compartment. I was holding up the floor board flap in my left hand and used my right hand to lift the folded seat into the floor compartment. As I folded the seat into the compartment, my ring finger on right hand got wedged or caught in the seat mechanism. I could not get the finger out. I returned the seat to the upright position thinking that the finger would become loose and I could remove it. It still would not come out.

After inspecting the vehicle, the contact found that the coolant holder and the heater hose fitting fractured causing the coolant to spill. The contact suffered minor burns to the hands and face. The ignition turns off. This has happened to me approximately 5 -6 times. Turning a corner, hitting a small bump in the road or just driving. Sometimes I hear the click of the key turning or just feel the loss of acceleration. The car turns off. Most of the time I have been able to put the car in neutral and restart it without any incident. There have been close calls of vehicles avoiding me while I recover from this happening.
Engine stops while driving. Happens at any speed under any driving conditions. It is not a typical "stall" . It is just as if the key was turned to the off position. The occurrence is random. It can happen more than once a day or several days apart.
