Tl* the contact owned a 2011 dodge caliber. While driving 10 MPH and making a left turn, another vehicle crashed into the passenger door of the contact's vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the vehicle was destroyed. The contact sustained a broken neck and a broken back. Medical attention was required. A police report was not filed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 42,000.
Dodge ram caliber mainstreet had both driver and passenger faulty air bags. They sprayed a mist that burnt the occupants skin!
Driving home from work around 8:15pm. On wednesday, february 12th, 2014. I was making a left hand turn onto one of the streets the leads me to my home as I always do. As I am making the left turn I felt my steering wheel losing control as I am turning and the car shifting to the left of the road onto on coming traffic.
When I first start my car, the engine will first rev past 2500 RPM; this is not normal as it revs around 1800 RPM. The car will vibrate, and the electronic throttle control light will come on (flashes when vibrates). After restarting the car, the light will go away. Between 35-45 MPH, the car will either feel like or will go into a stall. The light will come on when the vehicle goes into a stall. The previous week, I took my car to the dealer to have the map sensor and the pcv hose replaced.
