What owners wrote

I put car in the park position to get out of the car to get something. I turned around and my car was reversing down the street. I had to run and open the door and jump in the car to stop it. It was in reverse when I got in the car. I was on the side of the road.

My 2007 dodge charger suddenly would not shift out of park today 7/12/2013. After researching online I discovered there is a recall for this issue however my VIN is not covered. This is a known issue and is well documented online, however chrysler refuses to expand the recall to all chargers affected by their faulty shift column.
