My 2007 dodge charger suddenly would not shift out of park today 7/12/2013. After researching online I discovered there is a recall for this issue however my VIN is not covered. This is a known issue and is well documented online, however chrysler refuses to expand the recall to all chargers affected by their faulty shift column.
