What owners wrote

Tl*the contact owns a 2006 dodge grand caravan. The contact noticed that the passenger side sliding door was making abnormal noises. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and they stated that the locking mechanism was inoperative. The vehicle was not repaired because she had to be placed on a waiting list. Several weeks later, the sliding door would not latch properly, which allowed the door to open involuntarily. The contact is in the process of notifying the manufacturer.

Reported at 3,200 miles, May 2008

It first started with the passenger side sliding door lock. It would not automatically lock and had to be done manually. Now the driver's side door lock will not go up and down automatically nor will it do it manually. The door will also not open at all from inside or outside. This is a safety issue because passengers are not able to get out of the vehicle from that side.
