What owners wrote
During use of the vehicle, whether stationary or in motion, the "gas cap light" will come on followed by "check engine light". When this happens the code p0456 will cause the car to act indifferent, it is still drivable, but can cause other components to show a false reading. This issue has happened 4 times in the past 2 months, and every time we go to the dealership the check engine light will disappear. We have checked the gas cap, and this vehicle is under 17,000 miles.
While driving at aprox 25 MPH on a slight bend in the road and slightly accelerating, I realized my engine had died when it stopped accelerating. Electrical was still working, but the engine had shut off. I was able to coast to the side of the road, turn on my hazards, and put the vehicle in park. I waited about 20 seconds, then attempted to turn the engine back on. The engine started with no trouble and with no further incidence.
