2022 Ford Expedition forward collision avoidance problems

Documentation of unwarranted / uncontrolled vehicle acceleration: driver stated that while vehicle was stopped in traffic, vehicle accelerated without use of accelerator pedal. Vehicle lurched forward into vehicle ahead, and into 2nd vehicle ahead in traffic. Engine continued to race at high speed with transmission in drive, spinning rear tires uncontrolled with both feet depressing brake pedal. Vehicle had to be put in neutral to shut off engine.

The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed, and the contact was advised that no failure was found with the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 30,000.
