May 2000

While driving 60 MPH, the rear driver side tire (sentry tru-trac apt, size lt235/75r15, DOT-chhk) suddenly had 28" of tread separated from steel belts. Tire did not go flat. The separated tire tread damaged pick- up truck qtr panel, and bent the wheel well splash panels' metal support arm into the rear gas tank filler tube, denting it but did not puncture it. All four tires are the same.
