1995 Ford F-150 air bags problems

While traveling another vehicle hit consumer's vehicle, causing consumer to run off road. Air bags did not deploy at any time. Consumer was hit head on and then another two times on the side before going in the ditch, vehicle was totaled and 3 people were injured. *slc

The vehicle was parked overnight and the consumer was unable to start the ignition. The consumer opened the hood, and saw wires melted. The dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem. The cruise control switch caused the melting of the wiring harness and the brake fluid reservoir. All of the brake fluid leaked onto the engine. The wiring harness was burned completely from the engine to the steering column. The consumer was aware that later model ford 150's were experiencing the same problem.
