Dt: 2005 ford f450 sd - the vehicle was taken to the dealership when it had only 300 miles for scratches on the two side windows and front windshield. Now the vehicle has 5000 miles on it, and consumer cannot see out the windows, and it will not pass the state safety inspection. Also, the front windshield was pitted and scratched from the windshield wipers. Consumer called manufacturer, and took it back to the dealership, and they said that they would not do anything about the windows or windshield.
The fuel injector controls went out at less than 15,000 miles. After that engine always ran hot. Engine buned up at less than 60,000 miles. They put a new one in and now the turbo is not operating right, truck will only pull a load at 50 MPH. All of the events listed here happened before the truck was one year old! Because of all of these faults I have missed about 2 months of work waiting on them to get it fixed. I feed my family with my truck, if it doesn't work they don't eat.
I was driving my ford f-450 truck on a secondary road in baja california when the left front coil spring fell off, presumably while passing over a bump in the road. I was not immediately aware that the spring was missing, and was not able to find the spring when I later searched the roadway.
Tl* the contact owns a 2005 ford f-450 sd. The contact stated that while driving 35 MPH the vehicle started to over heat and the check gauges warning lamp illuminated. The contact mentioned that after inspecting the vehicle he noticed that oil had sip into the coolant reservoir. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnose that the oil cooler was defective and needed to be replaced. The failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure who did not offer any assistance.
