What owners wrote

I leased the car through my bank on may 5th 2016 with just over 35,000 miles. Two months into that the car didn't start and all electronic lights were flickering. It displayed transmission malfunction. I towed the car to a big ford repair shop. They said it needed a new transmission update and a new clutch. They took care of it. This has happened seven (7) times since I got the car may 2016. Pretty much every four months. It is completely inconvenient and costly.

Reported at 46,000 miles, May 2016 CrashInjury

In july 2014, I attempted to accelerate from a stop across traffic in a 25-mile-an-hour zone and could not. The vehicle started the process of acceleration, moving me into oncoming traffic, and then hesitated while I was in the cross hairs of another vehicle. This hesitation continued even though I fully depressed the accelerator in an attempt to get the vehicle to respond. In short, I slammed the accelerator to the floor and the vehicle did not respond.
