What owners wrote
Failure to protect outer edges of fuel tank sharp object kicked up front tire perforated tank on ford 500. 2006 have to replace tank.
My 2006 ford 500 lunges intermittently when shifting from park to drive or reverse. The car was taken to a repair shop who could not reproduce the lunging and said nothing appeared wrong. Since it only occurs intermittently, it is difficult to even get it fixed. It appears many other ford 500's are having the same problem.
