Side thorax and head curtain airbags are listed as standard equipment for the 2016 GMC sierra truck line. I discovered after my purchase that my vehicle does not have side airbags. After research I learned that when you select the duramax engine option, GMC deletes all side airbags and does not notify the customer. It is difficult to determine if your vehicle has side airbags or not.
