GMC denali truck caught fire 302 miles after being repaired by a GM goodwrench mechanic in july 2002. The consumer was on a family vacation when the vehicle developed an oil leak.
Refusal to honor nationally advertised warranty program for repairs which resulted in a vehicle fire. While driving, the vehicle developed an oil leak. The vehicle was taken to the dealership and repaired so the consumer assumed. Six hours the vehicle was in flames. The consumer later learned, the fire was due to improper repairs by the dealership.
On 12/14/07 we were involved in an auto accident. We were traveling at about 50MPH and ran into the back of another vehicle. The whole front passenger side of our yukon is totaled. The front end/battery and other items is pushed up into the engine. My concern is that neither one of the airbags deployed in the accident. Why? The impact should have released the airbag and the driver of the vehicle hit his shoulder on the steering wheel, which the airbag would have prevented that.
Unintended power assist to the right occurs when either turning left or going straight. Occurs at various speeds.---- dims 11 ivoq entry posted after 12/12/02 cut-over to artemis-----------------769741.
I have a 1999 GMC yukon SUV and I've been told that the ABS sensors are corroded because of the salt used on the roads here in mi in the winter. There is a recall on these vehicles at the present time but when I took my vehicle in for the necessary repair they told me the VIN # was not on their list. Whenever I stop at an intersection or red light or pull up to park I have a growling noise as I apply the brakes and a slipping of the brake pedal and the car keeps on moving when I think its going to stop.
