What owners wrote
Bought car 12-31-07 bad rear tire wear causing horrible shaking at byway speeds very dangerous in 3-15-08 replaced rear tires and control arms 6-12-08 same problem occurring again dealer to replace rear control arms and all 4 tires.
My '08 honda civic hybrid wears tires abnormally, leading to unsafe driving conditions, especially on wet or frosty surfaces. I have contacted honda yearly about this problem, having had to replace tires at intervals of approximately 15,000 miles. At this low mileage, my tires were bald in spots. Although honda has subsidized the cost of new tires, at 50%, they have not fixed the defect which continues to cause this abnormal tire wear.
