2000 Honda CR-V tires problems

I was driving on the freeway approximately 65 miles per hour on 9/7/00 2:25pm (approx). Blow out occurred, took control of the car while traveling a busy freeway. I managed to pull off the road without hitting any other car. I got off the car, noticed that the tire was completely off the rim, tire was half a mile (approx) away. Called roadside assitance, tire was changed. Photos were taken of the damage to the car and remaining portion of the tire on the rim.

After what sounded like the back end of my car dropping out, I began to pull off the I-5 freeway (in central ca). When I was partly on the right shoulder I lost control and spun across both south bound lanes, stopping in the median. It was truly a miracle that I didn't hit another car and that no cars hit me. I doubt I would have sruvived such an accident.
