My vehicle was hit on the passenger side, then pushed head on into a utility pole. The vehicle's side air bags deployed, but the front air bag did not. Updated 10/15/12
Tl* the contact owns a 2012 honda crosstour. The contact stated that the head rest would push his head forward, causing him pain. The contact mentioned that the defect caused his arm to become numb as well. Additionally, the contact stated that as a temporary remedy he removed the head rest. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The technician did not offer any assistance since they were unable to alter the design of the vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but did not offer any assistance.
Tl* the contact owns a 2012 honda crosstour. The contact stated that while parked, he noticed a fire had erupted from the dashboard area. The fire department was not called because the failure had occurred overnight while the vehicle was parked and seemingly, had extinguished independently. The contact did not notice the failure until it had already occurred. The vehicle was towed to the dealer for diagnostic testing where the technician advised that there had been a failure with the wiring in the console.
My 2012 crosstour is now suffering from what seems to be the very common shaking/shuddering issue. The problem presents between 20-45MPH and again around 60MPH, while under acceleration. The parts remain on national backorder. How can honda get away with not supporting these vehicles? Owners really should begin to consider getting together to bring a class action lawsuit against honda.
Steering wheel and chassis vibration on acceleration above 65 MPH. Vibration stopped only after letting off gas peddle. Axle vibrates under acceleration load at high speed. All road conditions
