What owners wrote
The Multipurpose camera that controls all advanced driver assistance fuctions malfunctions causing these systems to intermittenently not work properly or at all. It has caused the vehicle to fail to brake, and brake on its own without cause. Upon doing my own research I found numerous reports online of other owners of this make/model having the same issue. The problem first occured when my vehicle reached about 50,000 miles. It has been ongoing since.
My vehicle stopped in the middle of the highway without any warning. This was a very scary and dangerous experience. After the engine completely stopped and I tried turning on a symbol of steering wheel and an exclamation came on. Only thing to note is that we were using the cruise control at that time. My vehicle was completely disabled and had to be towed. The honda dealer said it was nothing based on diagnostics and they're not sure why this happened.
