2020 Honda Odyssey air bags problems

In 2020 I was driving in Sequoia national forest and hit a small pothole/erosion hole in front of a gate at approximately 2-3mph. I slightly bottomed out the car. The airbags deployed. Mild abrasion friction burns on my wrist. My wife's airbags in the passenger seat also deployed, but since we had zero forward momentum they didn't even contact her. I was told by Honda that this is my fault and that their airbag system only deployes when it should, and ultimately just filled an insurance claim.

The contact owns a 2020 Honda Odyssey. The contact stated while driving approximately 50 MPH, the driver’s side curtain air bag deployed without impact. No vehicle occupants were injured from the unintended deployment. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was filed. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.
