What owners wrote
When pulling into a parking space this morning and applying the brakes, the brake pedal did not engage. Pedal went to the floor with no resistance while making a grinding/slipping sound. I was going straight, less than 5 MPH. I released the brake and reapplied quickly (pumped the brakes) before brakes finally engaged. This caused me to come very close, almost hitting the parked car in front of me in the parking lot.
The contact owns a 2020 Honda Odyssey. The contact stated while driving 45 mph, there was an abnormal sound coming from the brakes. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was diagnosed but not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure but offered no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 4,000.
