What owners wrote

I purchased a brand-new 2025 Honda Odyssey in June 2024. The vehicle currently has approximately 18,000 miles. The Auto Idle Stop system has repeatedly shut the engine off at traffic lights and failed to restart it. When this occurs, the engine does not crank, the dashboard remains illuminated, the radio and other accessories shut down, and the display instructs the driver to press the brake to start the engine. Pressing the brake and attempting to restart the vehicle does not work.

August 2026 Crash

The contact owns a 2025 Honda Odyssey. The contact stated that while driving approximately 20 MPH, the vehicle inadvertently shut off in the middle of the road. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was immediately restarted and driven to the residence. Additionally, while at a complete stop at a red traffic light, the engine Auto START/STOP system failed to restart the vehicle after releasing the brake pedal. The contact pressed the Push to Start button to manually restart the vehicle.
