Ever since I bought my infiniti the air bag light flashed rapidly on the dash. I received notice a couple years ago about the air bags being recalled.I took my vehicle to Roseville Infiniti and supposedly the airbags were replaced I expected it to take a couple hours it was in and out in under 2 hours. When i left the deLership the light was still blinking and never quit blinking. My concern was to call and ask why it was still blinking ? I was told that it probably wasnt reset however the air bag was replaced .
My daughter six years old was in the passenger seat in our family car. There was no car accident , but when we arrived home we were unable to release the seat belt . In fact the more we tried to release the seat belt , the tighter it got. My daughter was trapped very hard in the seat belt. We been trying to release her in many deferent ways, it doesn't work. She start to cry and scream very loud and her stomach tight up more and more with the belt. There was no other choice, I took knife and cut out the belt.
I have not yet had an accident but I do not understand how this problem has not been resolved. I own a 2003 infiniti fx-35. The seat has a rocking motion to it. It rocks back and forth when I accelerate and brake. The dealership said this is a problem they are researching. After 7.5 months I am convinced they are just blowing me off. I continually contact the dealership and customer relations. I don't feel confident that the seat would provide the necessary protection if I were to ever crash the vehicle.
Dt*: the contact stated that the vehicle was serviced through local dealers for a recall pertaining to the fuel tank. In addition the tire pressure air sensor was also serviced but was taken back on three separate occasions for the same problem. The vehicle was under warranty and the dealers proposed that they would only fix the right tire air sensor under warranty but charged for services to the left tire air sensor. The services were not done.
