While driving the vehicle will come to a complete stop. There has been a recall on this vehicle but this problem continues to exist intermittently. It has been in the service department several times to correct the problem. This automobile has cut-off while moving which caused another vehicle to hit the rear causing damages to the rear bumper.

Reported at 8,000 miles, July 2004 CrashInjury

Upon purchasing the vehicle from the dealer in used condition w/ roughly 50000 I immediately began to notice shifter problems, especially if the vehicle was parked on an incline or decline. Shifter will become stuck and will not come out of park without great force, which then breaks the plastic piece which is necessary to change out the gears, resulting in complete immobility of the vehicle since the car was then stuck in park.

Reported at 54,000 miles, October 2004

Parking brake failure, disc not availabe and engine failed. All these indicators came on one after the other and the brakes would not stop the car, nor would the car accelerate. The car leaped forward and then slowed to a stop on its own. Dealer stated they repaired the recall items and could not state why the problem persistsed it happened three times, and the vehiclewas still covered by full factory warranty.
