What owners wrote
On July 9th 2022 the car showed a low oil pressure warning then shut down going around a curve but I was able to restart the vehicle. Within a few minutes I was stopped at an intersection and the car stalled again and I was unable to restart it which resulted in my car being rear ended. On July 12 th I contacted my Jeep dealership to discuss this and I was told that a recall was done on the car due to this same problem.
Engine has excessive oil consumption which causes the vehicle to just stall out. Recommended 5000 oil changes but dealers will say 3000 and to check oil every 2 days because it may need 4-5 qts between oil changes. This started within 5 months of driving it off the showroom floor. Dealer and chrysler corp are aware of issues but no fix has been discovered not do they care.
