My liberty has 3 recalls, 2 having do with big safety issues- fire and tires detaching. I first called planet dodge (miami, fl) for service appt.; gave VIN and advised of recalls- surprise! When I arrived for my appointment; they said the parts were on back order! Today I called tamiami jeep to make an appointment and was told 1) it's very dangerous as tires may detach 2) they have some parts, but not some bolt, if that is required!
Window regulators break with normal use. This has created a financial stress and safety issue. My doors will not open. I was informed by a dealership that door opening mechanism gets interfered with when the regulator breaks. They were able to get the windows to stay up, as I cannot afford the replacement. But both rear doors will not open from the inside, and the windows will not function.
