What owners wrote
Was driving with low speed when I heard the car alarm and heavy smoke started to show from under the hood. I had no full coverage on the truck so I had to take chance to open the hood and remove the battery cable before the whole car goes on fire. Was lucky this is didn't happen while I am driving on the freeway. The technician said that the fuse box was caught on fire.
Airbag light came on while pulling out of residence. The horn nor the cruise control currently work. After some research online, discovered there are many instances of this exact problem (clockspring). Chrysler acknowledges problems with the clockspring in the right hand drive version of jeep wrangler, and the 2007 left hand drive models, but nothing after.
