What owners wrote

I was driving to work on 10-5-15 when a drunk driver pulled out in front of me, I had no time to stop but when my 2010 jeep wrangler unlimited hit their vehicle, I immediately smelled and saw smoke comming from the engine compartment of my jeep. I drove to the side of the road where I quickly got out and made it just in time because the vehicle quickly burst into flames. My airbags also did not deploy which I thought odd because I was traveling around 45 MPH at the time of the accident.

Reported at 69,000 miles, October 2015 CrashFireInjury

Air bag light turns on intermittently during vehicle operation, meaning the air bag will not deploy if there's a collision. Suspected component failure is the clockspring. There have been recalls on other years of jeep wranglers for this issue, but not 2010 to my knowledge.
