What owners wrote

I drove my 2010 jeep wrangler sahara unlimited through water that was sitting in a pasture that had been shredded. 30 minutes later my car was on fire. The design of the skid plate allowed the grass that was floating on the water to be pushed under the skid plate and around the catalytic converter, within 30 minutes the grass dried and caught on fire. I had 3 kids in the car on our way back from a rodeo and ended up watching my jeep burn at 1:00 in the morning.

Reported at 21,000 miles, May 2011 Fire

While driving on a pasture the fuel line in our 2010 automatic jeep wrangler unlimited became detached from the clip that holds it in the automatic transmission (according to the dealer). The plastic part in the fuel line melted when it became in contact with part of the hot exhaust system. The jeep stop running and a small fire started beneath the jeep on the grass . We pushed the vehicle out of the way and put the fire out . There was no fire damage to the jeep.
