I have been to the dealership twice. I had it towed one of the times. The truck has been stalling out on me when I have been driving down the road. The dealership (sullivan watts mazda) has said there is nothing wrong, and to have it towed back in the next time I have the problem. My truck did stall one last time while I was trying to stop at a red light. When the truck stalled I lost brake pressure and power steering and rear ended a car, totaling it. Causing $4,800 damage to my truck.
Driver's seat belt buckle broke lose, and air bags failed to deploy when truck was involved in a rollover. Truck became air-born with severe impact. Please describe details.
Dt*: the contact owns a 2002 mazda b-2300 truck. While at a stop and attempting to accelerate the vehicle stalled. The dealer determined the transmission needs to be replaced however, no repairs have been made. Updated 03/09/06
Since I purchased the vehicle there has been noticeable play in the rear differential. I ignored it for a long time and then after the warranty had expired I took it to a repair shop in the area that has a very good reputation for repairing and setting up differentials. After examining the gears in the rear end he told me the play was caused by a part that was machined incorrectly at the factory. He said it was a hole that was drilled too large for the pin that is installed in it to hold the axle gears in place.
