I purchased a new mazda 2300 mid march 2007. The sticker stated that it got 28 mpg. I immediately noticed that I was getting approximately 11 to 16 mpg. I took the vehicle to the dealership to be checked, roger beasley's premier mazda. The dealership found no problem ,and the manager stated that what it ) is and suppossed to get. I took the truck ito a different dealership, mazda south, and they found a faulty sensor. I noticed the truck was idiling at 2000 RPM.

Tl* takata recall. The contact owns a 2007 mazda b304. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16v499000 (air bags). However, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

July 2016

Takata recall - the local mazda dealer tried to order the parts; but, was not allowed to even access the order page. Somehow, mazda has my mailing address. I want them to contact me and include my phone and email so they can quickly contact me when the parts are available. In the meantime, their letter says not to allow anyone to ride in the passenger seat. What??
