What owners wrote

I was parking my mazda cx5 in a spot at a shopping center and when I touched the brake with my right foot and went to push the button to turn off the car, it suddenly accelerated full speed, jumping the curb and smashing into a storefront. I noticed when I started the car (about a mile before the accident), it was making a vroom sound like it wasn't totally getting into gear. I don't know if it's a transmission, brake or accelerator issue - but there is definitely something wrong.

Reported at 24,000 miles, December 2014 CrashInjury

The car slips gears - going from drive to neutral instantaneously without warning. This happens when the car is in motion and in drive. The indicator light says 'd' but the car's gear is in neutral. This has happened 3 times on streets at approx 40MPH after making a 3 hour hwy trip.
