Impact was on the mazda driver's side in front of the wheel and into the car- made a left hand turn did not see the approaching vehicle traveling 50 MPH and hit the rear of vehicle. That vehicle flipped over and into the snowbank over 4 lanes. Airbags in the mazda did not deploy. Concerned as the purchase of the vehicle was for safety.
When the car is parked, with my foot on the break and the shift lever in "p" position pressing start/stop button the engine shuts off but the ignition remains on. This has caused my battery to die on two different occasion due to this problem.
The car slips gears - going from drive to neutral instantaneously without warning. This happens when the car is in motion and in drive. The indicator light says 'd' but the car's gear is in neutral. This has happened 3 times on streets at approx 40MPH after making a 3 hour hwy trip.
