2024 Mazda CX-90 drivetrain & axles problems

I use car washes that require you to put the car in neutral and the car wash has a device that pulls the car through. Upon exit, you are supposed to put the car into drive and drive away. But unfortunately the car will not go into drive. An error message pops up that tells me I can’t go into drive. I then have to quickly hit the brake, put the car in park, and then into drive so I can pull away. This is dangerous if there is a car behind you in the car wash because you have almost no time to react.

The contact owns a 2024 Mazda CX-90. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V815000 (Power Train, Engine and Engine Cooling); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated while driving at approximately 5 MPH, the vehicle stalled and shuddered abnormally. The message to "Please Pull Over to a Safe Place" was displayed on the instrument panel.
