2024 Mazda CX-90 steering problems

The contact leased a 2024 Mazda CX-90. The contact stated while driving 70 MPH in the far left lane, the vehicle jerked and the steering wheel seized, causing the contact to lose control of the vehicle. It was unknown whether warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle veered to the right independently, spun three times, crashed into the guard rail and came to a stop while facing oncoming traffic. The front driver's side airbag and an unknown air bag deployed.

The contact owns a 2024 Mazda CX-90. The contact stated that the steering rack coil was previously replaced under a recall. The contact stated that while driving 40 MPH off the highway, the contact suddenly lost steering and directional control, and the vehicle independently veered out of the lane. The contact was able to regain control after several attempts. The contact initially believed that the vehicle had hydroplaned; however, the failure reoccurred a month later.
