After a short 3 years the dash above the passenger side SRS airbag location on the dash split. I escalated the issue to nissan 3rd level escalation and they would not replace the dash but would give me 1000.00 to split the cost. On jan 25 2016 my car was involved in a no fault accident smashing head on into a snow bank and then rolling onto the roof then crunching on the passenger door. My forehead was smashed into the steering wheel of 10 airbags not 1 airbag deployed.
I was at my sister house had drove forward to back up, before I could put it in reverse the minivan just lunged forward into her deck. The deck was demolish. I turn the wheel to keep from going through her house. It was out of control I applied my brakes it did not stop I turned the wheel it was headed cross her yard toward ditch into some trees .I push the button to turn off it stopped. It tore up the front end driver side.
Tl* the contact owns a 2011 nissan quest. The contact stated the rear liftgate lens does not have a bulb in the socket. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated the lens was cosmetic; therefore, it would not have a bulb in the socket. The failure and current mileage was 2,500.
I was approaching a red light, applying brakes, so car was going about 2MPH when it suddenly began shaking and rumbling. I was on a small down hill incline. The engine just cut off and the car did not allow me to press on the brakes any longer. The car continued rolling through the red light/ intersection when I applied the emergency brake to stop the vehicle. Put car in park and attempted restarting 4 times, but it would not allow me to press my foot on the brake in order to start the car.
The vehicle was stalling multiple times on the freeway on my way to work this morning (9/25/19) and there is a sudden thump on the engine as it was trying to accelerate and would stall again after a few yards. So I decided to pullover safely and started the vehicle again until I reached my destination but with emergency lights on. This is absolutely a safety issue as it increases the risk of a crash or being hit from behind, with the vehicle stalling.
