What owners wrote
A few complaints as filed, shortened and with personal details removed. The first ones are among the most serious reports for this model year; the rest are typical.
Two car crashes - one at ~35MPH colliding with a tree (in late 2006) nearly head-on and a second (january 21st, 2008) at ~65MPH colliding with an interstate guard rail also nearly head-on - neither of which triggered a deployment of the air bags of the vehicle. The electrical system of the vehicle is questionable as the car experienced flashes of the headlights, temporary failure of the interior lights, and other electrical issues before the most recent accident.
Tl* the contact owned a 2001 oldsmobile intrigue. While driving 35 MPH, the vehicle struck a bump in the road. The contact lost all steering control and crashed into a tree. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. The contact sustained back injuries, which required medical attention. The vehicle was destroyed and towed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the crash. The failure mileage was unknown.
In the past few years, my 2001 olds intrigue has been having numerous issues. At first, I thought it may just be my car, but after much research, I'm finding that all of these things are also happening to many others. The first thing that I noticed was the random dimming of my headlights while driving. I have checked my lights, battery cables, and alternator. All are fine. The next issue is that my blinkers sometimes work and sometimes don't.
Car would not go from drive to park then I shurtoff the car and came back now it will not come outta park position.!!!!!.... Car was started both times
