What owners wrote
While driving down road looked ahead at traffic, had stopped, applied brakes but vehicle began to slow down, but did not stop. It never came to a complete stop. Brakes and steering locked and consumer hit auto in front of her, causing 3 persons and herself to be injured and taken to hospital.
Experienced hard brake pedal (lose of braking) and brake / ABS lights illuminated on the dash board. This was the second failure in the last two years after approximately 14,000 miles of operation since the last repair and for at least the fourth time since we have owned this vehicle (bought new). Previous repair involved replacement of brake accumulator, dual pressure switch, brake actuator piston assembly, and the pump motor assembly, the last two of which are subject to a lifetime recall.
