Tl* the contact owns a 2008 pontiac g6. The contact stated that while driving 50 MPH, the rear passenger side tire blew causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle and crash into a tree. The driver and passenger side front air bags failed to deploy. The passenger was killed on impact. The driver suffered a collapsed lung, broken shoulder and injuries to the arm and head. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to the contact's insurance company for further investigation.

On a clear day, traveling on a local hwy, check airbag light came on, stayed on. I have been asking other owners if they have the same problem. I was told the airbag won't deploy if that light is on. That scares the hell out of me! Now the seat belt light is on because I moved the drivers seat forward. That is intermittent. Please, find the right person to declare this worthy of a recall. One person dying because of this is one person too many. Airbags and seat belts are our only safety in a car.
