Vehicle will not engage in park, must shift into neutral to start vehicle. When gear selector is in the "park" position, vehicle does not actually engage in park and will roll. Parking/emergency brake prevents rolling, but this is a serious safety issue if one forgets to engage parking brake, or if the parking brake ever failed. Dealer states the shift cable and bracket need to be replaced at a cost of $282.
