Tl*the contact leases a 2008 pontiac g6. While turning a corner in the vehicle, the gas tank holder detached from the frame and was dragging on the ground. The vehicle was towed to the dealer and they added more bolts to support the gas tank. The VIN was unknown. The current and failure mileages were 2,400.
I began to notice strong fuel smell coming from vehicle which lead me to check for leaks. I noticed a crack in the fuel line as stated in recall 09v-419. Unfortunately the g6 is not covered in this recall even though the g5 is. Because of the fuel leak, gas mileage is suffering greatly. G6 should be included in the previously mentioned recall.
