Was traveling about 35 MPH on a straight road, was hit a by a vehicle who sped out of a side road. I was hit on the drivers side front fender by the car, then I crashed head on into the fuel tanks of a semi truck. My truck hit the semi so hard it through my truck backwards more than a truck length. No air bags deployed.
The contact owns a 2020 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the air bag warning light unexpectedly illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and it was determined that the air bag had failed and needed to be repaired. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 61,590
