What owners wrote
Takata inflators : my fiance was in a terrible accident with a hit and run and his truck is totaled. It was front impact and the air bags did not inflate or go off- his head hit the windshield and he had to go to the er for head injuries.
Takata recall - the air bag sensor light comes on intermittently when the vehicle is running, whether the vehicle is stationary or moving. I have taken the vehicle to the local dodge dealership and they told me it would be a $120 diagnostic fee to check it out. I have read numerous complaints regarding this same issue. I feel that it should be checked at no charge to me as it represents a true safety hazard if the airbags deploy, especially when not involved in an accident.
