While driving under very icy road conditions consumer lost control of vehicle, went into a spin, and hit a tree head on. Upon impact, none of the airbags deployed.
First occasion approx 1/04 - backing up out of a parking spot and car accelerated uncontrollably on its own. I put both feet on the brake and still could not stop vehicle-had to put car in park to stop. If someone was in back of me I would have caused a crash. Simultaneous with this incident, I received a recall from suzuki for this particular problem and took car in for recall service. Second occasion, 3/25/04 - waiting in line to go into car wash when car did the same thing-accelerated uncontrollably.

AC compressor went out twice in my 2002 suzuki xl-7. Once in august 2009 and again in may 2012. I had to have it replaced twice because it was a pretty hot summer. It assume if the car last another few years, I will have to replace it again. How annoying! Also, after the summer months, during the winter months when I need to turn on the heat, the service engine light comes on. I got this tested and it had to do with the AC compressor. This makes sense because the xl-7 compressor is dual. It's runs AC and heat.
