What owners wrote

While driving, the passenger window began to roll down on its own when I tried to roll the window back up using the master switch on the driver side, I noticed smoke coming from the button, upon closer inspection I could see actual flames underneath the button. I pulled over and turned the car off. The flame burned itself out inside the door panel. I took the car into a local toyota deal and paid $500.00 to repair the master switch.

April 2012 Fire

Drivers side sun visor suddenly broke, obstructing view while driving. The visor will no longer return to the upright position and flops toward the driver. I am afraid in an accident I might slam my head directly into the sun visor, so I think this is a serious safety hazard. Contacted the dealer, and they want $260 to replace with the same visor. Looking online, this appears to be a common problem, and I should expect the replacement to break as well, including the passenger side eventually.
