What owners wrote

Both air bags deployed in a low speed collision that was beneath the toyota threshhold, resulting in serious injury to mrs. Ruhlman, from which she died the following march. The possibility of low-speed deployment or deployment with relatively minor collision damage was not referred to in the owner's manual. Mrs. Ruhlman was sitting upright prior to the accident and was wearing a seatbelt.

October 1996 CrashInjuryDeath

I ordered a super sized drink that was too large to fit in the cup holder, so I sat the drink in the center console to keep it stabile while I drove home. A car drove thru the stop sign without stopping and I had to make a sudden stop and the drink tipped over in the console. I removed the console thinking I can wipe off whatever I can wipe off , let the area air dry for a day or two then put it back together and it would be alright. However, the light remained on while driving.
