Dt: consumer owned a 2005 volkswagen golf with turbo diesel injection. She bought vehicle with 75 miles on it. While driving on and passing a big truck which was merging into consumer's vehicle lane she tried to accelerate but vehicle lost power and fell back. Truck veered into the lane and consumers vehicle was forced into the median until truck noticed consumer's vehicle, got over, and let her back in the lane.
Volkswagen 2005 golf: both front exterior lights, day time and night time went out. The fuse was good and the light bulbs were out. Apparently, the wiring had a malfunction which also caused the interior light on the climate controls to go off. The fuse was good as well. Another malfunction from thevw company. Lastly, driver side front window went down while driving to work 25 MPH. I did not touch the window nor tried to open or close it, it went done completely and it is inside the door...it won't go up nor down.
I got in the car this morning to head to work, I reached back to pull the seat belt forward and around my lap. Next thing I knew the belt was fully extended and would not retract at all. I had no tension left in the seat belt and it hung over me completely extended. Now I am driving with this completely loose seat belt around me, and no protection if I am in an accident.
