What owners wrote
I have a volvo s60 2002 and in october in a chekpoint the border patrol agent noticed an odor of fuel and a leak he was some what alarmed and so I was inspected and so on I started to research for this problem and found that my car had a recall on the fuel pump NHTSA campaign 07v152000 that matched all the sy mptoms and so I call to volvo and they said that I don't have a recall but an extended warranty on the fuel pump, and so I went to the dealer left the car picked it up and now my car not only leaks fuel on…
I've had my car all of 4 months and I started to notice when it got really hot outside (summer) and when I went to start my car it would stall as if it was having a hard time starting up. Long story short I take it in to the dealer, they run a diagnostics test an tell me there is a crack in my fuel pump. I currently live in pennsylvania which is not one of the states listed for the fuel pump recall.
