Tl*the contact owns a 2007 volvo s80. The contact stated the vehicle was taken to the dealer to have NHTSA campaign id number 10v335000 tires: pressure monitoring and regulating systems repair performed. The repair did not correct the failure. The contact experienced five blowouts due to the side wall failure before the recall was performed and after the recall was performed he experienced three blowouts. The failure occurred on the driver and passenger front tire while driving approximately 5 to 6 MPH.
Driving through a flat newly paved parking lot. Car stalled, tried to restart twice, wouldn't start. Opened drivers door to find large amount of gasoline maybe 3-4 gallons under the car. Can not believe that it didn't ignite. Towed to dealer, fuel pump nipple cracked (part of fuel pump) sending gas all over the hot exhaust. Dealer claimed this the first failure of this kind they had seen, but had the fuel pump in stock.

Tl* the contact owns a 2007 volvo s80. While the contact's husband was driving 30 MPH and making a turn, an abnormal "pop" sound was heard and the steering wheel became difficult to turn without warning. The vehicle was driven to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the power steering hose failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the steering failed again.
