2010 Cadillac SRX drivetrain & axles problems

Tl* the contact owns a 2010 cadillac srx. While driving approximately 45 MPH, there was a loss of power steering without warning. In addition, when the accelerator pedal was engaged the vehicle failed to respond. The contact sustained injuries to the shoulder and neck due to the excessive force applied to the steering wheel however, no medical attention was required. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the gear shift failed. The vehicle was repaired.

My new car was towed a number of 4 times. First time car was only 6 mos old and had 3000 mi on it. Second and third time heritage cadillac said they were working with engineers from cadillac to try and repair. 4th time they said couldn't fix and car was not safe to drive, could get stranded in it.
